With 16 competitors, the competition was tense with Langereis commenting: “I never even thought about winning the competition until I reached the final, purely because Wouter was one competing as he won last year’s competition.” During day 1, there were 2 car wrapping rounds, followed by the creative round, where the competitors were challenged with wrapping a metal bucket. During day 2, the wrappers competed in both the semi-final and the final. The 3 cars that were displayed were all Polyester 2, 100% electric cars. The sponsors of the competition included 3M, Spandex, HP, and Hertz car rental. 3M were the material sponsor, Spandex promoted 3D car wraps, HP were the award sponsor, and the cars were rented from Hertz car rental. The runners up were, Dik Weterings from CarDsign who came in third and in second place, last year’s winner, Wouter Knol from WTR design. When asked about his win, Martijn commented: “I am excited that I came in first place this year and I am so happy I can call myself the World Wrap Master of Netherlands. However, I know there are plenty of incredibly fast and experienced wrappers in the Netherlands who didn't even enter this competition. Thankfully, for me I have Wouter Knol as my benchmark, since he came in second place at World Wrap Masters Final 2023, so above all, I'm incredibly proud to have grabbed the win this year.” A big thank you to the sponsors for this event including: 3M, the material sponsor, Spandex - promoting 3D car wraps, HP the award sponsor and Hertz car rental.
