UK transformative vehicle branding specialist Brandfixx recently linked up with the P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery charity to overhaul the look of one of its vehicles in order to help raise awareness of the association and the support it offers.

P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery provides support, guidance and education to individuals and families affected by acquired brain injury (ABI) in Hull and the surrounding areas, with the aim of helping make life easier for all those impacted.

The charity put itself forward for a special competition run by Brandfixx last year, whereby the wrapping specialist would select one entrant to work with and transform the look of a vehicle, free of charge.

Brandfixx singled out P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery as a worthy winner of the contest and set to work on wrapping one of its vans, which serves as an outreach vehicle within the local community, travelling around Hull and nearby areas to support people and their families.

The wrapping specialist, which was founded in 2020 by father-and-son team David and Greg Saunderson, is also based in Hull and was keen to support a local organisation.

Brandfixx used its unique modular technique to complete the wrap. This can be designed, manufactured and fitted to suit every type of vehicle, meaning that the rebrand could be completed in just hours, instead of the days it would take for a traditional wrap.

As such, the charity’s existing van design was overhauled in the space of an afternoon.

“We were overwhelmed to see so many entries in the competition and it made choosing a winner really difficult,” said Greg Saunderson, managing director of Brandfixx.

“Their outreach vehicle is a vital resource for their work so it was important the rebrand could be done quickly to get it back out on the road. Our process is 40% quicker than traditional wrapping methods, so there was a significant time saving for them.”

Paul Spence, founder of P.A.U.L For Brain Recovery, added: “We were humbled to be nominated for Brandfixx’s charity competition and even more pleased when we heard we’d won.

“Our van is paramount in helping us continue to serve our community, whether that’s transporting service users to and from sessions, or transporting equipment and participants to fundraising and awareness events.

“The van branding helps to raise awareness when we’re out and about, meaning more people can get the help and support they need. Thanks to Brandfixx, we’re thrilled with the new design.”
