Clean Logistics, a company committed to developing environmentally friendly vehicles for the commercial transport industry, recently unveiled its latest truck, complete with a strikingly colourful set of vehicle graphics.

Developed in partnership with Shanghai REFIRE Technology (REFIRE), an international clean mobility and power technology business, the new fyuriant is Clean Logistics’ first hydrogen-powered zero-emission truck, offering another greener vehicle solution to customers around the world.

The production model is powered by dual 120kW PRISMA fuel cell systems designed and manufactured by REFIRE, with both companies saying this offers a viable fast-track to decarbonising commercial transport from mass transit to heavy duty trucking, providing an alternative to traditional diesel engines.

Onboard fuel tanks can carry up to 43kg of compressed hydrogen giving it a range of over 400km and a refuelling time of less than 15 minutes, while electricity generated by the PRISMA fuel cell systems is delivered to wheel hub electric motors, providing a maximum torque of 17,000 Nm.

As if all of this was not impressive enough, Clean Logistics chose to cover the truck with an eye-catching, multi-coloured set of graphics. The design gives the clever effect that the truck has been splattered with different coloured paints, with bright greens, red, oranges and yellows drawing plenty of attention.

The graphics cover the main cab area of the truck, as well as the front grill and the lower section behind the cab, giving an all-over effect.

The addition of the special design certainly helped the truck to stand out during a series of drag races, in which it competed against a diesel truck with an identical chassis. The Fyuriant easily reached the finish line on the Stade airfield runway in Lower Saxony in Germany first in every race, including when fully loaded with a typical freight box attached.

“Our buses and trucks have met with a high response in the industry,” Clean Logistics chief executive Dirk Graszt said. ”This is because we are now already able to make zero-emission vehicles available to the market.

“REFIRE is a major partner of Clean Logistics, and as a key component of our products, their highly innovative and efficient PRISMA fuel cell system has enabled us to succeed."

Audrey Ma, vice president of international business at REFIRE, added: “It's a privilege to see fyuriant make its debut today and illustrate to the world just how competitive it is in driving performance. We are sincerely grateful to have been selected as Clean Logistics' product of choice and partner of choice, and we are looking forward to continuing to enable their success in European zero emissions commercial vehicle markets.

“Our PRISMA system has been battle tested and is one of the most trusted and durable fuel cell systems on the planet. We're happy to be able to share our knowledge and experience in support of Germany's efforts to reach 30% zero emissions in trucking by 2030.”
