FESPA Mexico 2021, the largest exhibition for the graphics industry in Mexico and Central America will be running the World Wrap Masters Mexico 2021 competition and will be introducing the World Wrap Master Mexico School 2021.
FESPA Mexico 2021, will be held from 23rd – 25th September 2021 at the Citibanamex Center in Mexico City. The exhibition will welcome experts in wrapping. “More and more vinyl installation services are required, not only for vehicles but for interior decoration, retail, etc. Vinyl offers the ability to create effects on different surfaces and achieve unique finishes with customizations that are quick at a low cost, "says Berenice Gallegos of FESPA Mexico.
World Wrap Masters Mexico 2021
World Wrap Masters Mexico will return for its 10th year, the competition will feature workshops, training demos and the competition on 25th September 2021. The World Wrap Masters Mexico 2021 is an official qualifying event for the World Wrap Masters Final. The winner will qualify and compete at the World Wrap Masters Final 2022 which will take place at FESPA Global Print Expo 2022 2nd - 3rd June at Messe Berlin, Germany.
In less than 2 hours, the 16 spaces were filled. The World Wrap Masters Mexico looks to measure quality, speed and technique of all 16 competitors and the best will be crowned World Wrap Master of Mexico 2021.
Competitors will compete in 3 rounds: a creative round, a skills-based round with the final round reviewing installation techniques.
World Wrap Masters Mexico Wrap School 2021
For the first time this year World Wrap Masters Mexico will offer a Wrap School from 23rd - 25th September. The school offers a fast course for anyone interested in learning how to wrap from scratch, the materials, surface preparation, tools and cuts. This is an opportunity to fall in love with the art of wrapping. This workshop will be sponsored by Arlon, the Latin American Association of Artists in Labeling (HALAR) and Industrial AR.
"This is the first time this has been done in Mexico and I believe it’s very important to be able to transmit knowledge and seek that the new generations are interested in preparing professionally, because this until recently began to be more professional and we want to strengthen them, "says Rafael Muñoz, representative of HALAR.
Registration for the World Wrap Master School is now open. The two packages available are the basic package and the intermediate package. The Basic Package is designed for those who are new to wrapping and vinyls and will include the following:

● Detection of critical points
● Types of materials and their recommended uses
● How to measure and make the most of resources
● Initial applications with lower degree of difficulty

The Intermediate Package is designed for those who want are interested in wrapping for business purposes and will include the following:

● Introduction to certification

● Execution of various techniques for a comfortable handling of materials

● Fascias
● Trunk
● Indoor work
