This World Wrap Masters competition concluded after a busy 2-day competition at WrapFest 2024 located at Silverstone racing circuit from 3 – 4 October. This competition saw featured 8 skilled wrappers compete from all around the world including China, Hungary, England and Ireland. 

The cars that were wrapped throughout this competition were Dacia Sanderos. All competitors also participated in the first creative round and were tasked with wrapping 2 litre thermal water bottles with handles. The shape of the bottles meant that competitors had the opportunity to showcase their application skills on an uneven surface and demonstrate their creativity.

On the second day, the best 4 competitors competed in the semifinals which include another creative round where they had to wrap briefcase toolboxes.


Kiss Lajos and Ivan Tenchev returned once again to judge this year’s competition, with Ole Solskin returning as the MC. The judges used their expertise to evaluate the competitors work throughout the 2-day event.

Chris Hooper won 1^st place, József Szebeni came in second and Klimowicz Kamil came in 3^rd place.


After his victory, Chris Hooper shared his excitment about winning the competition and commented: “I am still in shock that I won, it really does mean a lot to me. I am excited to compete in the World Wrap Masters Final next year. The competition gets harder and harder every year, I am so happy that I won.” Chris will compete against other winners of World Wrap Masters competitions at the final taking place from 8 – 9 May 2025 at FESPA Global Print Expo.

Ole Solskin, MC of World Wrap Masters describes the competition as a part of his life, “Everyone has something special in their life, my little special thing is this wrap competition with FESPA, as we grow together”.

He discusses the future of the event, “We are responsible to teach the next generation how to wrap, at the same time we must think about the future, researching into sustainable materials and the effects on the environment the competition has. It is a continuously growing competition; we want to ensure that we are doing everything we can to grow with it for a very long time.”

One of the judges, Ivan Tenchev states, “The competition is important to me as when I meet colleagues from around the world, everyone is learning new techniques from each other when they are together.” Kiss Lajos adds “Learning from each other in these competitions ensures that everyone is continuously working at a higher level, and it increases wrapper’s ability on a daily basis. Entering the competition is fun and like a training course as you are learning from each other the whole time”
