The World Wrap Masters Middle East 2025 concluded spectacularly, delivering an unforgettable three-day competition that showed incredible talent, precision, and creativity. Held at Dubai Exhibition Centre in Dubai from 20th-22nd January, the event brought together 16 global elite wrappers to display their wrapping expertise on the new Geely Coolray SUVs.
Vit Simek from the Czech Republic took the title of the World Wrap Master of Middle East 2025. Vit is an experienced wrapper for Avery Dennison with over 15 years of experience. Vit’s techniques and enthusiasm stood out across all challenges. József Szebeni from Hungary took 2nd place with his precise, creative execution, while Tadashi Hayashida from Japan placed in 3rd place with an excellent performance throughout the competition.

The first day of the competition consisted of 6 rounds as well as a creative round. Each round lasted 70 minutes and required competitors to wrap the front door, front bumper and back fender of a Geely Coolray. The creative round item was an individual bowling pin.
On Day 2, competitors faced challenges of applying Printed Media film on the front door and fender as well as applying colour change material on the back fender and back bumper.
The third and final day of the competition featured a highly creative round that tested both skill and imagination. Competitors wrapped baby highchairs, wrapping this oddly shaped object demonstrated the competitors’ initiative and adaptability. Following this round, at the end of the semi-finals resulted in the judges choosing the top 4 wrappers. These finalists then competed in an intense final round, wrapping an entire side of a Geely Coolray. The ultimate test of determination, skill, and time management determined the winner.

After the competition, Vit Simek shared his thoughts on his second regional championship win. He expressed his gratitude and said the victory marked a symbolic end to his streak of coming in second place, making this gold medal especially meaningful. When asked how he would celebrate, Vit mentioned he planned to celebrate the win at home with his wife and three children, who had been a great source of support throughout his journey. “This is their victory as well,” he added.
Looking ahead to the Finals, Vit described the opportunity to win as "the cherry on top" and shared how excited he was for the chance to compete at the highest level. To prepare for competitions like this, Vit explained that while he wraps cars daily in his workshop, he dedicates specific time to practicing complex car sections repeatedly before competing.
Vit also offered advice for those considering entering the competition. He encouraged others to take the leap and sign up, emphasising that the World Wrap Masters is more than just a competition—it’s about becoming part of an incredible community. “It’s mostly about joining this amazing family,” he said.
