The World Wrap Masters Mexico will return to Mexico City from the 17^th – 19^th August 2023. Wrap installers from Mexican and Latin American regions will compete to win the title of World Wrap Master of Mexico. The competition will take place at FESPA Mexico 2023, the leading exhibition in large format digital printing, textile printing, screen printing, sublimation, garment decoration and signage in Mexico and Latin America. The wrappers will compete across 3 days and the winner will compete at the World Wrap Masters Final 2024 taking place at FESPA Global Print Expo 2024 in Amsterdam.

This years competition sponsors are HEXIS, Arlon And LDM, with the main sponsor being Avance y Tecnologia. This year there will be 16 competitors who come from Mexico and Columbia. The confirmed competitors are from companies such as Masters Wrap from Puebla, Wrappers Tijuana from Baja California, Salomon wraps from Queretaro and Andreswraps. The World Wrap Masters Mexico 2022 winner, Antonio Ramirez will also be returning to compete this year to defend his title of World Wrap Masters of Mexico.

Wrap experts Carlos Ruiz and Penelope Garrido from Spain will be judges at the competition. Both judges will follow strict competition guidelines and use their knowledge to critique the competitors on their skills, attention to detail, duration, and the quality of their wrapping.

The 16 competitors will battle it out over 3 rounds which include a creative round, where they will be tasked with wrapping vinyl around an unusual object to demonstrate their abilities and skills. Previous items that have been wrapped include a bike helmet, a bowling pin, and a statue of a dog. Another round will focus on their skills and the final round will focus on the wrappers’ installation techniques.

In addition, a Wrap School will run alongside the competition which will provide training sessions to anyone interesting in improving their skills, learning new techniques from the top certified trainers and discover the latest product innovations.

The winner will qualify to compete at FESPA World Wrap Masters Final 2024, taking place at FESPA Global Print Expo in Amsterdam, Netherlands from the 19^th – 22^nd of March 2024.
